Mellen Country Club Estates

Mellen Country Club Estates is a residential area which has been planned to provide residents a pleasant and relaxing environment in which to live. The area is nestled between the original nine hole Mellen Country Club golf course and the planned new back nine, which will make the Mellen Country Club an eighteen hole golf course. Great care has been taken in planning and locating the lots to provide the maximum use and provide to the maximum extent, visible amenities for the residents.

Though out the planning and development process, attention has been given to preserving the natural beauty of the land. This care in planning, coupled with attention to quality and detail in the development process, places Mellen Country Club Estates in a posture to evolve as an aesthetically pleasing community. The degree to which this is achieved is very much dependent upon the attention property owners give to the design and location of their homes.

In order to provide for the maintenance, preservation and architectural control of the Lots and Common Property within the Mellen Country Club Estates tract, a Mellen Country Club Estates Association, Inc. has been formed. The jurisdiction of this Association is provided for in a Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions filed at the office of the Register of Deeds of Ashland County, Ashland Wisconsin.

As provided for in the Covenants, a Design Review Board has been appointed and has established a set of Rules and Regulations, which will be helpful in the design and construction of homes at Mellen Country Club Estates.
